Cairnsmore of Fleet Visitor Centre & Audience Development
“Over a three year period, we asked the Moffat Centre to look at the effectiveness of visitor provision at Cairnsmore of Fleet NNR; what it had and what it could offer.
"The project developed very much more into a partnership, with ideas being assessed, evaluated and implemented.
"The Moffat team rapidly grasped what we were about and what we wanted to achieve, making the whole project an enjoyable and very relative and effective piece of work.”

Exploring International Business Relationships between National Tourism Organisations, Governments and Tourism Sectors
Hi Craig.
I have just sat down and read your excellent and informative report in one sitting. What really stands out (as indeed you say in the summary/conclusion sections) is that everyone seems to face the same problems (due to fragmentation in the industry and in government due to regionalisation), there are no easy solutions and the real key to getting that single voice together to the extent possible is to galvanise the private sector to get behind a single industry body (and even then it only works if they stick to high level messages due to differing requirements of the sectors involved).
Kind regards.
Ros Carey, Secretary to the Board, VisitBritain

Visitor Attraction Monitor and Barometer
“The Moffat Centre has conducted the Visitor Attraction Monitor and Barometer on behalf of VisitScotland for approximately ten years which has provided critical, and moreover timely, performance-related statistics from a key sector of the Scottish tourism industry. The Barometer has been of particular benefit of late, in terms of both recent months and the year-to date picture, to help assess changing visitor behaviour in terms of attraction visitation, and provide consumer insight thereof, in light of the currently perceived challenging wider economic conditions.
Regards
Paul Allison, Strategic Research, VisitScotland
