Scholarships
Through the Moffat Centre, undergraduate and postgraduate students accepted to study Travel and Tourism courses at Glasgow Caledonian University can apply for a scholarship to aid their studies. Scholarships are awarded annually based upon the following criteria:
- Academic ability
- Motivation to undertake a career in the industry
- Economic need
To date, through a yearly donation from The Moffat Charitable Trust as well as project surpluses, we have provided over £500,000.00 in scholarships to Travel and Tourism students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Jamie Moffat (the son of Mr. James H Moffat) plays an active role in selecting scholars.
