MacDonald Sisters - Audience Trials of Temporary Exhibit

Glasgow Museums commissioned the Moffat Centre and the Heritage Futures Network to carry out research on audience responses to ‘The MacDonald Sisters’ story trial display in 2006. The research outputs were to identify graphics related issues and content/learning issues. Interviews were carried out on a one to one basis and target groups were organised for stakeholders such as for partially sighted visitors, for those who speak English as a second language/minority language, and for non-expert adults including families and tourists. Participant observation was also undertaken to monitor the flow of visitors through the gallery.
